Menarini Diagnostics acquires EOS Preanalytics and Point Of Care company assets
FLORENCE, January 15th, 2021 - Menarini Diagnostics, a company of the Menarini Group, leader in the supply of diagnostic solutions, and EOS, an Italian company focused on the development of innovative new generation diagnostic devices, have announced the transfer of the Point-Of-Care and Preanalitics business from EOS to Menarini. The EOS Point-Of-Care portfolio represents a complete offer for a decentralized diagnostic response in the field of infectious disease, clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation and immunoassays allowing Menarini to further expand its role in this strategic segment. Supported and integrated by dedicated IT governance and traceability platforms, the solutions dedicated to Preanalytics represent one of the most extensive and innovative proposals in the field of Laboratory Medicine allowing a complete automation of sampling, integrated logistics, traceability and sample management.
